City Fans United Junior Blues have been invited to join the parade at the FC United of Manchester Youth Day at Gigg Lane, Bury on Saturday April 24th, and were making a day out of it. For more information see click here.
Following some kind donations from local supporters, including Newton Athletic YFC, the coach for the children is free. There will also be refreshments on the coach for the children.
City Fans United adult section will also be running a coach for older supporters to go to the game, which is between FC United and Matlock Town. We will aim for the coaches to get to the ground for 12.30 for the children to enjoy the events that have been put on, and for the adults to visit one or two of the few good pubs around the ground.
It will be great to go to football again, and a chance for our supporters to let the world know about our new Club. So get your poster paints and spray cans out, get a couple of bed sheets, and make some flags for what promises to be a memorable day amongst fellow Blues. We will be aiming to take lots of pictures of what will be our first day out under the Chester Football Club banner, so come one come all.
All parents of Junior Blues wishing to book their children for this free trip need to call Junior Blues Chairman Dave Cartwright on 01978 364222 or e-mail davidfcartwright@yahoo.co.uk to book places on the coach. Parents can also contact Dave on these numbers to get their kids to join Junior Blues.
All City Fans United members who want to watch a game of Unibond football, spread the word about our new Club and just enjoy a day out amongst fellow Blues, can contact Barrie Hipkiss on 01244 379011 to book. No calls after 8pm please.
All coaches leave at 10.30am, and the cost for adults is £10.
Both of these buses will sell out, and are on a first come first served basis, so book quickly to avoid disappointment.
