Mike Day Joins CFU Board

The Board of Chester FC are delighted to announce that Mike Day has been co-opted as a Board Member to serve between now and our next  AGM in November 2014.  Mike has followed Chester FC since 1975 and has been a season-ticket holder since the last season at Sealand Road in 1989-90 including the exile years at Macc.

Self-employed for over 30 years, and with a strong background in commercial photography, archival photography, IT and graphic and website design, a major part of Mike’s current daily routine includes website design and management on a freelance basis. Mike currently assists Jeff Banks with the maintenance of the main Club website and will bring his skills to update and revamp the CFU website to make it more relevant and user-friendly for members to access the latest CFU news.

Mike played a full part in the 2013 CFU Structure Working Group, helping to research and analyse the various organisational possibilities before working closely with Supporters Direct to produce the well received final report.

Mike is keen to play a full part in implementing the new structure and in particular opening up the possibilities for greater supporter and volunteer involvement in a wide spectrum of activities.

Welcome to the Board Mike!
