As agreed by Members at the 2013 AGM and our subsequent March 2014 meeting, the Board are now in a position to move ahead with establishing the Operational Board, which is aimed at supporting the efficient and effective day-day to running of the Club.

 

At a recent Board meeting, Club Chairman, Tony Durkin and Jim Keegan, Director, were nominated as the two CFU representatives to the Operational Board, in line with the agreed protocols.

The Club is now seeking to appoint additional persons to serve on the Operational Board and are inviting applications from candidates who have experience in and can make a positive contribution to our work in the following key areas:

• Financial and Business Planning;
• Commercial and Marketing and Profile Building;
• Legal and Governance;
• The Football Industry/Sector.

The creation of the Operational Board represents an exciting key stage in the Club’s development and if you would like to help us move forward in these key areas, then please forward your CV and a short covering letter to our Board Secretary, Marion Needham at: marion.needham@chesterfc.com
