Just a reminder that the next City Fans United members meeting is set to take place on Thursday 6th March, in the Blues Bar at the Swansway Chester Stadium, commencing at 7.30pm.
The main purpose of the evening is the presentation of the update on our organisational structure, following the approval at November’s CFU AGM of the report and recommendations which were produced by the CFU Working Group and which proposed an Operational Board working alongside but reporting to the main CFU Board.
Chester FC is able to report that our Chairman Tony Durkin is progressing well and Tony wishes to relay his thanks to our fans for all the expressions of concern and best wishes that have flooded in for him. The three points against Halifax was an obvious tonic for Tony and it was great that he was able to watch this match live on BT Sport. Speaking earlier today Tony says he hopes to be with us “on the bench” for the Alfreton game on Saturday 15th March, which is great news!
The Seals Lottery Draw for January 2014 was made at the Swansway Chester Stadium at the recent game versus Halifax, three lucky winners share nearly £1300

The draw for the December 2013 Seals Lottery took place recently. The draw was made by our new manager Steve Burr

Tuesday night’s friendly fixture against Leeds United has been cancelled following consultation between the two clubs due to adverse weather conditions.
So far the Small Change Box initiative towards Squad Builder, has brought in £430.
If you have not yet brought your box in to the club for emptying, then perhaps the transfer window is an appropriate time. Some fans have filled boxes several times.
If you haven’t picked up a box earlier in the season, pick one up from the office asap and get saving those small (or big !) coins. Could we hit £1,000 by season end ?
Christmas Raffle update: 2 prizes were inadvertently not published on the winners list of the recent CFC Christmas Raffle.
A meal for 2 + wine at the Crabwall Manor’s Earl of Chester Restaurant has been won by Ticket No.08129, Ruth Day.
The Gift Voucher for the Backford Belles Jersey Ice Cream has been won by Ticket No 04276 Dave Williams.
Congratulation to the winners and a massive thank you to Crabwall Manor and Backford Belles for their support of the Club’s Raffle.
