Former Chester striker, Daryl Clare, is set to present the City Fans United Player of the Year trophy to the winning player at next Friday’s CFU Promotion Party.
The event, which is being hosted by BBC’s Jonathan Legard, himself a Chester supporter, will see the former Blues striker, who was an instant hit with Chester fans, travel over from Lincolnshire 12 months to the date of his last appearance at a City Fans United organised event, the re-launch of Chester Football Club which took place at the Guild Hall on the 20th May 2010.
There are many features planned for the Promotion Party, which include the presentation of the Players shirts to their sponsors, and also the presentation of the Away Travel Player of the Year.
Other planned items include the launch of the Chester FC Season Review DVD, and an auction with many quality items going under the hammer, and we hope to include a couple of very special, unique features, which will be revealed next week.
Tickets for the event priced at £10 are still available from the Exacta Stadium ticket office for the CFU Promotion Party which starts at 7.30pm on Friday 20th May.
