City Fans United have scooped the honour of ‘Team of the Year’ in the ‘Your Champions’ Awards for 2010 for the Chester area .
CFU were put forward for the award back in August after nominations were received by the Chester Chronicle, part of Trinity Mirror Cheshire group, who along with Scottish Power began to recognise those who make a difference to their Community, and it’s fair to say that the 2700 members of City Fans United have each played a part in reviving football in the Community of Chester.
City Fans United members are hereby notified of a special general meeting of the society to consider two resolutions to change the financial year and registered office address of the society.

City Fans United celebrates its first birthday today, and what a year it’s been since the organisation was launched back at the Divas Show Bar in Chester one year ago!
City Fans United will be promoting Chester FC at Chester University’s Open Day tomorrow (9.30am-1pm) and are requiring Volunteers to help assist during the morning.

We do need help tomorrow though, and if you can spare some time to help, please contact media@cityfansunited.com today, in order for full details to be supplied.
City Fans United’s next Members Meeting will take place at The Blues Bar on Thursday 7th October, commencing at 8pm and will feature an update from the various board members of Chester FC, and we hope to have in attendance officials from both the management and playing staff.
