2014 Board Elections Reminder
CFU members are reminded that applications for the 2014 board elections must be submitted by 4pm on Thursday 14th August.
Volunteers Meeting Postponed
Unfortunately the Volunteers Meeting scheduled for Saturday 19th has been postponed and will be re-scheduled for early in the new season.

CFC Youth Section – Board Statement
The Board of Chester Football Club would like to take this opportunity to respond to recent social media speculation regarding the future of the Youth Section.
Youth development at Chester FC is viewed as an crucial element of the infrastructure at the club.
The decision to move to a full time first team playing squad and the limited resources available to us to remain in a sustainable financial position, will mean greater reliance on the development of players from within our own structure. Youth development is therefore key to our future and not an option.
Calvin’s Charity Bike Ride – Update
Chester Fc Fooball secretary Calvin Hughes completed the Liverpool – Chester – Liverpool charity bike ride today (Sunday 22nd June).
Calvin said “Many thanks to all who have donated; had a good day today on the ride, first 25 mile managed in 1hr 40m, and the second 25 mile in 2hrs 20mins; big thank you to all the Marshalls on the route, and hopefully the cyclists injured in the crash in the Mersey tunnel are all okay, not nice seeing Ambulances taking people away.”
