CFU Membership Renewals

It’s that time again for City Fans United memberships to be renewed as the current annual membership period starts on Monday 1st June. If you have already renewed your membership for the 2020-21 membership period (1st June 2020-31st May 2021) then we thank you for doing so, and for your continued support. Members already on a direct debit will see their membership auto renew.

To renew, or sign up for the first time please follow the instructions below:

Direct Debit

Now is a great time to set up a Direct Debit to ensure that your membership auto-renews in the future. You will also be helping the club at the same time with extra revenue that it needs given the current circumstances.

We will shortly be rolling out an incentive programme which is tailored to those contributing monthly amounts on Direct Debit, from £5 per month upwards. Details to follow on this scheme shortly but you can get ahead of the game and set the Direct Debit up straight away.

To set up a monthly Direct Debit for your CFU membership, please email nick.phillipson@chesterfc.com who will then be able to arrange this easily with you.

Your CFU membership will then continue to renew on the 1st June each year going forward making it extremely simple to manage.

Additional contributions on top of the annual £12 fee will be classed as donations to City Fans United.

You can of course join or renew your membership online with the flat £12 annual membership fee, via our online link below:

We are continuing to process CFU membership renewals or new membership application forms that have been posted to the club, but please bear in mind we have a small number of volunteers processing these at present and appreciate your patience in dealing with those.

Membership cards will be produced in due course.

Thank you once again for your support and understanding at this difficult time for everyone, and we look forward to a point when we can once again cheer on The Blues at the Deva Stadium.

Boys & Boden offer Members FREE Discount Card

City Fans United are delighted to announce a new benefit for CFU members to take advantage of, as local builder’s merchants and DIY megastore Boys and Boden are offering every CFU member a new discount card to use in their store, based in Bretton, Chester (next to Airbus).

Visit the Boys and Boden website here for further information on what they have to offer in the one-stop shop for Building & Plumbing, Kitchen and DIY.

Gary Bebbington of Boys and Boden, was thrilled to be able to offer CFU members the discount, “We’re delighted to be able to offer City Fans United members our new discount card free of charge at Boys and Boden. We are a business that cares about the Community and we wanted to work with Chester FC knowing they are a fan owned club with the community at its heart.”

Boys and Boden are also giving discount cards to EVERY volunteer at Chester FC, in recognition of the role they play at the club, “We know that the success of Chester FC is built on volunteers and we wanted to offer our own thanks by giving those volunteers a discount card of their own. We also have our own café here in store, and if any volunteers or members with their discount card come in to the café and order food like a bacon or sausage sandwich then we’ll throw in a free cuppa to go with it!”

Kieron Shiel, the Chester FC director responsible for the Volunteers portfolio said, “It’s great to have Boys and Boden on board with our discount scheme that allows members to benefit by way of the free discount card, and it’s also a real positive to have another business approach Chester FC who have our excellent team of volunteers in their thoughts to reward too. Thanks to Gary and everyone at Boys and Boden for helping to make this happen!”

Chester FC’s extensive list of volunteers will shortly be presented with their discount card, whilst existing CFU members just need to produce their membership card at the till area in the Boys and Boden store on Broughton Mills Road, off Chester Road, in Bretton, Chester (next to Airbus) where they will then be given a free discount card to use in-store.

CFU Meeting (Informal) – Thursday 19th July

We would like to let our members know that the next CFU meeting will take place on Thursday 19th July, commencing at 7.30pm in the Blues Bar at the Swansway Chester Stadium.

Join CFU today and help us get to 2018 members in the year 2018!

This month’s meeting is an informal one but we are hoping to have Chester management duo Bern & Jono in attendance.

There will also be the chance to ‘Meet the Board’ for anyone considering standing for election at the forthcoming AGM, to gain an understanding of what the role entails.

Membership cards will also be available to collect on the night too, and you can also join CFU on the night too.

Further details will be released shortly for the online stream of the informal meeting.

We look forward to seeing you there!

CFU Membership passes 1600 mark!

The numbers of CFU members renewing or joining for the first time continues to increase and we can now report that we have over 1600 active members.

We would like to thank everyone that has signed up and remind the 300+ members who saw their membership expire on the 31st May, that we’d love to have them back as active members again!

We are of course looking to achieve a total of 2018 members in the year 2018, and are well on course to hit that figure – but we still need everyone to take part in the #one2onechallenge which tasks every CFU member to introduce at least one new member to CFU this year.

The process of renewing or joining is very simple, just click the link below and you can log into your profile and renew from there, or you can sign up for the first time if you’ve not done so before on our members section page below.
