City Fans United members can now collect their membership cards from the Exacta Stadium Ticket Office between now and the end of 2011, and will also be available to collect from the Blues Bar prior to the Nantwich Town game on Monday 2nd January.

 

Members are asked if they can quote their membership number (this will have been on the recent AGM letter that was sent out in November), as this will help up speed up the process.

 

CFU would like to apologise for the delay in the membership cards going out to members, this being due to a number of factors.

 

Any cards that are not collected by Monday 2nd January will be sent out by post shortly after.

Welcome to the CFU Exiles – Join us on Tuesday 13th December in London

 

After resolutions passed overwhelmingly by both the Chester FC Exiles and City Fans United, the Exiles are now fully part of CFU.  This means that all members of City Fans United who live away from the immediate Chester area are automatically also members of the Exiles.

 

At no extra cost to yourself – or any reduction in your rights as a CFU member – you have the opportunity to participate in Exiles activities and the Exiles will also seek to represent the interests of fans living away from Chester.

City Fans United members are continuing to raise funds for Chester FC via http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/cityfu/ with the Club receiving a cheque for £175.58, which takes the total raised from the initiative set up by Blues fan Martin Hurst to over £920 so far, and we would like to thank everyone who is helping to increase the total raised.

The next City Fans United members meeting takes place on Thursday 3rd November, in The Blues Bar at the Exacta Stadium, kicking off at 7.30pm.

 

Following the successful format of last month’s meeting, we’ll be hoping for another great turnout, with the announcement of the Management’s Player of the Month award for the Senior, Youth, and Under 16 squads of Chester FC.

City Fans United will shortly be issuing Membership Cards to all of its members, which currently stands at 2000 adult members.

 

With such a strong membership number, we are appealing to local businesses to offer a discount to our members on production of membership cards.

 

If you would like to offer CFU members a discount on purchases or your services, please e-mail membership@cityfansunited.com with your contact details, your type of business, and also the level of discount that you would like to offer our members.

 

Your business will then appear on the City Fans United website, giving you extra exposure, and an opportunity for increased revenue.

Chester FC’s new Volunteer Co-Ordinator is looking for volunteers over 16 to sell 50/50 tickets in and around the ground.

Carol will also be holding a meeting for all current and potential volunteers on Thursday 7th October at 6pm. You are invited to come along and talk to Carol about what you can do and what the club can do for you.
