The recent call for help with seat cleaning and a ‘spring clean’ at the stadium was a resounding success. Enough hard working volunteers turned up on Monday (14th April) to get the cleaning tasks finished within the day, so no further sessions are required this week. Many thanks to all those who offered help!
Chester FC are looking for volunteers to help with seat cleaning at the Swansway Chester Stadium. The work will be carried out between Monday 14th and Thursday 17th of April.
Wrexham FC have invited other supporters organisations to participate with them in a sponsored walk to the summit of Snowdon.
Each supporters organisation is asked to put forward two fit and healthy members to represent them in the walk. Those chosen will be raising money for City Fans United. The walk will take place on sunday 29th June.

A BUMPER weekend of fundraising for Chester FC will take place on Aprll 4th and 5th with a Race Night and a Sponsored Walk.
Chester fans are being encouraged to sign up to the club’s second 5km sponsored walk which will take place prior to the Hyde FC game on Saturday 5th April at 11am.
Last year’s event raised over £5000 for the club. This year the proceeds are being split between Youth Development and the club’s Wheelchair Supporter Viewing Project. (more…)
Chester FC Media Officer, Jeff Banks, is to step down from his role on the board of directors at the end of the season.
Jeff, 40, was one of the first members of the board when the Club reformed back in March 2010 having been part of the launch of City Fans United a year earlier.
Banks, who watched his first Chester match when he was 8 years old is standing down so that he can focus on the arrival of his first baby, which is due to arrive in April.
Just a reminder that the next City Fans United members meeting is set to take place on Thursday 6th March, in the Blues Bar at the Swansway Chester Stadium, commencing at 7.30pm.
The main purpose of the evening is the presentation of the update on our organisational structure, following the approval at November’s CFU AGM of the report and recommendations which were produced by the CFU Working Group and which proposed an Operational Board working alongside but reporting to the main CFU Board.
Chester FC is able to report that our Chairman Tony Durkin is progressing well and Tony wishes to relay his thanks to our fans for all the expressions of concern and best wishes that have flooded in for him. The three points against Halifax was an obvious tonic for Tony and it was great that he was able to watch this match live on BT Sport. Speaking earlier today Tony says he hopes to be with us “on the bench” for the Alfreton game on Saturday 15th March, which is great news!
