The last Seals Lottery Draw of the year was made prior to the Away Travel coaches leaving for Northwich Victoria on Boxing Day, and Honorary Life President Barrie Hipkiss pulled out the final winners of 2011, and each have won a share of over £1000, whilst £1000 goes towards Chester FC’s future development.

A year ago, Chester FC were sitting on top of the Evo-Stik First Division North having enjoyed a successful 9 months since efforts to reform the Club had began. the last 12 months has since Chester FC go from strength to strength, a maiden Championship win completed in April in front of over 2,300 fans at a small town in Yorkshire, which was followed by a unique bus parade around the City of Chester, and promotion parties throughout May.
City Fans United members can now collect their membership cards from the Exacta Stadium Ticket Office between now and the end of 2011, and will also be available to collect from the Blues Bar prior to the Nantwich Town game on Monday 2nd January.
Members are asked if they can quote their membership number (this will have been on the recent AGM letter that was sent out in November), as this will help up speed up the process.
CFU would like to apologise for the delay in the membership cards going out to members, this being due to a number of factors.
Any cards that are not collected by Monday 2nd January will be sent out by post shortly after.

Welcome to the CFU Exiles – Join us on Tuesday 13th December in London
After resolutions passed overwhelmingly by both the Chester FC Exiles and City Fans United, the Exiles are now fully part of CFU. This means that all members of City Fans United who live away from the immediate Chester area are automatically also members of the Exiles.
At no extra cost to yourself – or any reduction in your rights as a CFU member – you have the opportunity to participate in Exiles activities and the Exiles will also seek to represent the interests of fans living away from Chester.
City Fans United members are continuing to raise funds for Chester FC via http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/cityfu/ with the Club receiving a cheque for £175.58, which takes the total raised from the initiative set up by Blues fan Martin Hurst to over £920 so far, and we would like to thank everyone who is helping to increase the total raised.
The Seals Lottery November Draw was carried out at half time during Chester FC’s match with Ashton at the Exacta Stadium last night, and Chris Simm & Adam Judge were on hand to pick out the winners, who this month, are:
1st Prize – Graham Billington (member 153) – wins £503
2nd Prize – Keith Musson (member 173) – wins £377
3rd Prize – Chris Courtenay Williams (member 560) – wins £251

The Seals Lottery Draw for October was drawn on Saturday at the Exacta Stadium.
The winning numbers were drawn out of the hat by our special guests, characters from the Dick Whiitington pantomime that will be featuring in Chester next month.
The next City Fans United members meeting takes place on Thursday 3rd November, in The Blues Bar at the Exacta Stadium, kicking off at 7.30pm.
Following the successful format of last month’s meeting, we’ll be hoping for another great turnout, with the announcement of the Management’s Player of the Month award for the Senior, Youth, and Under 16 squads of Chester FC.
