Vanarama Big Day Out Tickets

The tickets for the Vanarama Big Day Out Conference Play Off final at Wembley on 17th May have just been received at the Club. Those who purchased vouchers MUST redeem them from the club for an official entry ticket. (The voucher itself will NOT gain entry on the day). There is no difference between adult and children’s tickets.

If you live within reasonable locality of the Deva Stadium (Chester/Deeside/Wirral etc) please bring your voucher(s) asap to the club to obtain your ticket. The ticket office is open 10-4 on weekdays for ticket distribution. If you live at some significant distance from the club (there are many ‘exiles’ who have purchased vouchers) please contact Club Ticket Office (01244 371376 or info@chesterfc.com) asap to confirm your voucher(s) number and confirm/cross check postal address. Tickets will then be mailed out.

Note we have insufficient numbers to currently run a coach to Wembley – another 20 more people will be needed to make the trip economically feasible (expected cost is £20 per person). Please contact club immediately if you would like to add your name to the list. (Close off will be 4 pm Monday 11th).

Jonathan Freeman Resignation

Jonathan Freeman has advised the Board of Chester FC that he is reluctantly standing down from his roles as Director and CFU Membership Secretary.

Jonathan has been our CFU Membership Secretary since January 2012 and was elected to the Board at the AGM last autumn.

However, due to unprecedented work demands in his dental practice Jonathan has found it increasingly difficult to attend to his CFU and Board roles in the manner he would like and so has reluctantly come to the conclusion that it is best for him to stand down at this stage.

Jonathan will remain an ardent supporter of the Club both on and off the field and our thanks and best wishes go to him for all the work he has done on our behalf these past three years.

Next Meeting Thursday 5th March 2015

The next City Fans United meeting will be held on Thursday 5th March in the Blues Bar at the Swansway Chester Stadium.

This meeting will be an informal one. CFU Board members will be present as always to answer your questions and hear suggestions.

The Main event of the evening will be a Q&A session with Steve Burr just a few days ahead of our eagerly awaited derby clash with Wrexham.

Also on the agenda will be the progress of the #ReclaimTheGame initiative, which we have been collaborating with Wrexham FC on ahead of Saturday’s derby game.

We are very keen that the new schedule of regular CFU meetings will be a success, so please do your best to attend.

Blues Bar will open at 7.00pm with the meeting commencing at 7.30pm.

#ReclaimTheGame

Wrexham and Chester football clubs are launching a campaign ahead of next month’s derby clash at the Glyndwr University Racecourse Ground, and are calling on ordinary fans to #ReclaimTheGame.
